Hey Savi Launches Shopping Search App for Women in UK
Hey Savi launched its eponymous app in the United Kingdom today, a search platform for women which uses AI to help shoppers scour the internet for the right outfit for sale using just descriptions or even a screenshot.
The app, which is currently only available on iOS, is considered the U.K.’s first “agentic” commerce platform for women, the company said in a statement, referring to an advanced form of AI capable of making its own decisions. It said the app would be available on Android soon.
Hey Savi is using AI to simplify the search for the right clothing. Its technology turns any search—may it be a photo, a screenshot, a text—into ranked results across more than 10,000 brands, “ordered by relevance and not sponsored placements.”
“We’ve built Hey Savi from the ground up to make shopping easier for women,” said Victoria Peppiatt, Hey Savi co-founder. “Until now, online shopping could be long-winded and inefficient for the customer—a redirect, a forgotten password, a site that didn’t carry the right size. Hey Savi simplifies it.”
Hey Savi also welcomed its first retailer adopter, online fashion store Debenhams Group, which owns brands such as Debenhams and Karen Millen. When buying a product under the group, an in-app purchase via PayPal can be made, thanks to Hey Savi’s partnership with the online payment firm.
“Having an iconic British business like Debenhams Group as the first retailer on board demonstrates how AI is fundamentally reshaping consumer behavior and PayPal makes it real—bringing the U.K.’s first all-in-one agentic commerce experience to life,” Peppiatt said.
Moving forward, Hey Savi said it would further personalize the shopping experience, tailoring recommendations to each shopper’s style, size and budget preferences.
