Tiffany Haddish Adds a Curved Gold Heel to Her Metallic Sandal Streak at ‘Moana’ Premiere

Tiffany Haddish added a curved gold heel to her metallic sandal streak Tuesday night, arriving at Disney’s “Moana” world premiere at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in Larroudé x Nicolò B. Nana sandal before keeping the look on for her second night guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The comedian and actress wore the Gold Specchio version of the Nana, a 107 mm evening sandal made with a mirror-finish synthetic upper, kidskin leather lining and gold hardware. The design kept the foot mostly bare, with a slim strap across the toes, a narrow ankle fastening and a loose crystal chain draped below the strap like jewelry. The back view showed the collection’s curved heel, which bent inward before widening slightly at the base.

Haddish paired the metallic sandals with Silvia Tcherassi’s Sana silk-blend maxidress. The chartreuse style featured thin shoulder straps, a plunging V neckline and close ruching through the bodice, with a softer ankle-grazing skirt. She also wore a straight, shoulder-length bob by Ray Christopher and a smoky eye and neutral-berry lip by Hendra Nasril. Wayman and Micah styled the look.

With the gold Larroudé pair, Haddish moved her metallic footwear run into a more architectural place. In May, she wore Flor de Maria’s Alexandria gold crystal embellished heeled sandals on “Today” after wearing gunmetal silver deep-V pumps to “The Roast of Kevin Hart” two days earlier. In those looks, the metallic finish came through more familiar red carpet shapes: asymmetric crystal straps on one end, a pointed closed pump on the other. With the Nana sandal, the shine stayed in place while the heel and ankle and curved heel details added a unique take on the trend.

Larroudé

The style comes from Larroudé’s collaboration with Nicolò Beretta, whose work with the brand has centered on sculptural, highly curved heel shapes. For Haddish, the choice also worked against the “Moana” blue carpet without getting literal about the film’s tropical palette.
