The sneakers, which appear to be a version of Adidas’ Box Hog model, draw from the brand’s boxing archive. The high-top silhouette features paneled white leather uppers, reinforced toes and flat soles designed for ring grip. Laces run high through dense rows of metal eyelets, providing full ankle coverage. A suede toe overlay, perforated heel and padded collar nod to the shoe’s performance roots. Originally introduced in the early 2000s for competitive fighters, the Box Hog line was designed for traction and breathability in the ring.
The just-announced Super Bowl 2026 halftime performer wore the sneakers with wide black denim shorts, a plain white T-shirt and a checked overcoat. A beige cap and narrow black sunglasses completed the look. The crispy white athletic shoes popped against an otherwise darker, neutral ensemble.

The choice also ties back to his ongoing collaboration with Adidas, a partnership that’s stretched across performance silhouettes and lifestyle drops. His creative partnership with the brand began in March 2021 with the release of the Forum Low “First Café” sneaker and has since expanded to include multiple reinterpretations of the Gazelle, the Ballerina and the Puerto Rico-inspired Gazelle City Series unveiled this summer. Those collaborations have also mirrored the artist’s own reach — spanning global campaigns, regional exclusives in Puerto Rico and limited drops that routinely sell out within hours.
That ongoing exchange between heritage and reinterpretation has become a signature of his offstage appearances as well. In recent months, he’s rotated through Adidas silhouettes beyond his own line — including the Wales Bonner x Adidas Karintha Lo sneakers worn on “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” in July — reflecting his broader engagement with the brand’s archives and collaborators.
“Barrio Triste” marks the directorial debut of Stillz, Bad Bunny’s longtime collaborator and visual partner. The film, which premiered at the New York Film Festival, explores youth, class and identity through the lens of Medellín’s underground music scene.
