Bad Bunny’s Custom Cowboy Boots Lead Schiaparelli’s Subtly Surreal Shoe Lineup at Paris Couture Week

Schiaparelli’s haute couture front row in Paris did not go into full surrealist shoe mode on Monday, but the house’s taste for the slightly off-kilter footwear still had a subtle presence. Bad Bunny took a custom cowboy boot into couture, Emma Corrin set keyholes over black velvet pumps and Michelle Yeoh put a gold slash down the center of a pointed mule. Even the quieter pairs had a point of view, from Karlie Kloss’ broken-in ballet flats to Vera Wang’s towering red-soled platforms.

Ahead, take a look at some of the standout celebrity shoe moments at the Schiaparelli fall 2026 haute couture show in Paris.

Bad Bunny’s custom Schiaparelli boots gave the traditional cowboy shape a sleeker line in glossy black leather. The elongated toe curved gently upward, while the low vamp swept into a close ankle shaft and sharply angled Western heel. His wide buttercream trousers covered most of the pair, but enough remained in view to make the Western reference clear.

Daniel Roseberry carried the black-and-gold combination through the rest of the look with a braided tie, gold bijoux buttons and pins, and a mock-croc cowboy belt finished with Schiaparelli’s Anatomy buckle. The singer previously wore the house to the 2026 Grammys, where his black velvet ensemble became Schiaparelli’s first custom haute couture menswear look.

Corrin’s pumps had the clearest house reference of the group. “The Crown” actor pointed black pair appeared to be velvet, with thin straps crossing over the foot and small gold keyhole plaques set near the toes. The straps left angular sections of the foot exposed before meeting a narrow stiletto heel.

They wore the shoes beneath black velvet trousers and a cropped jacket covered in feathers, with two bird forms rising toward the face in a shield-like collar. There was plenty happening above the ankle, but the keyhole detail kept the pumps from getting lost.

Michelle Yeoh

Yeoh went with a sharply pointed black mule. One padded strap crossed the foot, while small perforations covered the vamp and a slim gold insert ran vertically toward the toe. The heel was high and narrow, giving the otherwise minimal pair a much sharper profile.

The “Everything Everywhere All at Once” star paired them with a fitted black dress finished with dark feathering across the off-the-shoulder neckline. Gold jewelry and hardware on her handbag repeated the metallic line on the shoes.

Karlie Kloss

Kloss’ black ballet flats were not fresh from the box. The leather had creased across the rounded toes, while the uppers had softened around the shape of her feet. At a couture show, where even the sunglasses can look newly unwrapped, the familiar pair stood out for its utility.

The model and tech entrepreneur styled them with a black lace camisole, zebra-print pencil skirt and a quilted shoulder bag, making the case for shoes that could conceivably survive the rest of the day’s schedule.

Wang was not interested in meeting Kloss anywhere near ground level. Her black ankle boots appeared to be Christian Louboutin’s Loo Booty, based on the visible red soles and 130 mm platform shape. Smooth leather covered the rounded toe, while a thick platform and tall block heel added sky-high height. A wide elastic panel broke up the ankle shaft, with a small tonal Louboutin crest near the heel.

She tucked black leggings into the shafts and paired them with a gray knit mini and a black top crowded with oversized fabric flowers. A clutch gripped by gold anatomical fingers took care of the Schiaparelli house code.

Roseberry saved the full spectacle for the runway, where the aquatic-inspired collection included latex tentacles, silicone bustiers, fish scales and gowns fitted with lights. “I love the extreme. I mean, it’s couture,” he told WWD backstage. Outside, that impulse showed up in smaller doses, sometimes no bigger than a gold keyhole at the toe.
