Macaulay Culkin Wore Pink Crocs and 2 Watches at the Farmers Market
Jeremy Allen White isn’t the only famous guy who’s buying his fresh flowers while getting a fit off at Los Angeles farmers’ markets these days.
This week, Macaulay Culkin met up with his longtime pal, fellow actor Seth Green, at a Sunday outdoor market in Studio City. The former child star, who picked up a newspaper-wrapped bouquet of sunflowers, was dressed casually in a short-sleeved button-up shirt, gray shorts, a straw sun hat, and bubblegum-pink Crocs. Meanwhile, Green—whom Culkin starred alongside in 2003’s Party Monster, as well as 2019’s Changeland—wore a T-shirt printed with a Japanese-language poster from the 1993 cult film True Romance.

They were joined by Culkin’s longtime partner, actress Brenda Song, who also warded off the LA sun in a floppy-brimmed straw sun hat.
But the real action was happening on Culkin’s right wrist: The actor sported two vintage-looking watches, echoing a timepiece trend we’ve seen from the likes of Drake and Barry Keoghan as of late. But Culkin isn’t new to the practice of wearing multiple watches at once. In 2019, the actor stacked two Cartier pieces—an XL-sized Tank and a Ronde Solo—when he rang the ceremonial closing bell at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco.
Perhaps excessive wrist ornamentation is a Culkin family trait: Macaulay’s younger brother, Succession star Kieran Culkin, has turned his habit of wearing dozens of bracelets on his right wrist into a signature fashion statement. (Kieran, meanwhile, usually wears a single watch on his left wrist.)
“I’ve been wearing tons of bracelets for, like, twenty years,” Kieran Culkin told Rolling Stone earlier this year, admitting that the meaning behind the bracelets is “usually not that interesting. Some of them I take. Some of them people give me. Some of them I buy. Two of these have the names of my kids.”
At this point, the Culkin brothers’ wrist game is rivaled only by Ryan Gosling’s fictional Ken, who wore a whopping three watches in Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster Barbie.
