Seven injured in violent clash in northern Germany
At least seven people were injured during a clash in northern Germany on Sunday.
The incident took place in Hessisch Oldendorf, south-west of Hannover.
Witnesses said the victims suffered stab and gunshot wounds, while several people were also run over by cars, the police reported.
The perpetrators fled the scene, but officers were able to detain two suspects later in the day and take them into police custody.

The police believe the alleged perpetrators have a connection to the victims. The circumstances are still under investigation.
Police were on the scene with a large number of officers, while there was also an increased police presence around the hospital in Hameln. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
